இந்தியாவில் உள்ள தொண்டு நிறுவனங்கள் வெளிநாடுகளில் இருந்து நன்கொடை பெற வேண்டும் என்றால் அவை மத்திய அரசின் விதிமுறைகளை முறையாகப் பின்பற்றி இதற்கான உரிமத்தைப் பெற வேண்டும்.

‘Stop use of FCRA to repress dissent’
The People’s Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL) on Monday condemned the registration of a case and searches by the CBI against the Centre for Promotion of Social Concerns (CPSC) and its initiative, People’s Watch, for alleged violation of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has booked the Madurai-based Centre for Promotion of Social Concerns (CPSC), and its program unit People’s Watch, under Sections 120B (Punishment of criminal conspiracy) and 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) of the Indian Penal Code, as well as on charges of violation of the Foreign Contributions Regulation Act (FCRA), 2010.
According to the FIR, the CPSC is a trust formed through a trust deed with the objective of all-round welfare of the socially, educationally and economically downtrodden people of the country.
