Working Group on Human Rights in India and the UN (WGHR)

People’s Watch is a founder member of the WGHR, which was established in January 2009 by a group of civil society members and independent experts working in the field of human rights in India.

World Organisation Against Torture (OMCT)

People’s Watch is a member of Executive Committee of OMCT- International coalition of NGOs fighting against torture, summary executions, forced disappearances and all other forms of cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.

International Dalit Solidarity Network (IDSN)

People’s Watch is a Member of the Executive group of the IDSN from 2014-till date and earlier from 2000-2003.

International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH)

People's Watch is a member organisation of the International Federation for Human Rights. The organisation federates 184 organisations from 112 countries. Since 1922, FIDH has been defending all civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights as set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. 

CIVICUS World Alliance for Citizen Participation

World Alliance for Citizen Participation is an international alliance of members and partners which constitutes an influential network of organisations at the local, national, regional and international levels, and spans the spectrum of civil society. People's Watch has been a member organsation of CIVICUS since 2016.

HRE 2020 Global Collation for Human Rights Education

HRE 2020 is a civil society coalition to support and strengthen the implementation of international human rights education commitments. It seeks to ensure a systematic monitoring of governments implementation of human rights education provisions in international human rights instruments, including the UN Declaration on Human Rights Education and Training and the World Programme for Human Rights Education. People's Watch has been a member since 2005.
