மதுரை : போ லீஸ் விசாரணையில் இளைஞர் உயிரிழந்த வழக்கில் டிசம்பர் 31-ம் தேதிக்குள் சிபிசிஐடி குற்றப்பத்திரி க்கை தா க்கல் செ ய்ய உயர் நீதிமன்றம் உத்தரவிட்டுட் ள்ளது.
மதுரை மாவட்டம் சோலையழகுபுரத்தைச் சேர்ந்த இளைஞர் பாலமுருகன். இவரைக் கடத்தல் வழக்கில் விசாரணைக்காக அவனியாபுரம் போலீஸார் அழைத்துச் சென்றனர். இதனிடையே, காவல் நிலையத்தில் இருந்து பாலமுருகன் உயிரிழந்ததாக அவரது பெற்றோருக்குத் தகவல் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டது.
Expressing dissatisfaction over the progress made in the investigation into the 2019 Avaniapuram custodial death case, the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court on Tuesday observed that there was not only a delay but also lapses on the part of the investigating officer. The CB-CID is probing the custodial death case. A Division Bench of Acting Chief Justice Munishwar Nath Bhandari and Justice Pushpa Sathyanarayana took note of the fact that the incident took place in 2019. But, the probe was yet to be completed. The CB-CID took over the investigation in 2021.

சோலையழகுபுரம் முத்து கருப்பன்,'என் மகன் டிரைவர் பாலமுருகன். அவரை ஒரு கடத்தல் வழக்கு தொடர்பாக அவனியாபுரம் போலீசார் 2019 ல் சட்டவிரோதமாக காவலில் வைத்து தாக்கினர். காயமடைந்த பாலமுருகன் அரசு மருத்துவமனையில் இறந்தார். சி.பி.ஐ., விசாரணைக்கு உத்தரவிட வேண்டும்' என மனு செய்தார். மனுதாரர் தரப்பில் வாபஸ் பெற்றதால், தனி நீதிபதி தள்ளுபடி செய்தார்.

MADURAI: The Madurai Bench of Madras High Court on Monday directed the CB-CID to complete the investigation in Avaniyapuram custodial death case by the end of January 2022. A Bench comprising Chief Justice Sanjib Banerjee and Justice M Duraiswamy gave the direction in a suo motu petition filed over suspicious withdrawal of the custodial death petition by the parents of the victim before the court in 2019.
