தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்ட போலீஸ் சூப்பிரண்டு நாளை ஆஜராக வேண்டும் என்று மதுரை உயர்நீதிமன்ற கிளை உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளது. #ThoothukudiFiring #MaduraiHCBench. தூத்துக்குடியில் ஸ்டெர்லைட் ஆலையை நிரந்தரமாக மூட லியுறுத்தி கடந்த மே மாதம் பொதுமக்கள் ஊர்வலம் நடத்தினர். அப்போது போலீசார் ஊர்வலத்தில் சென்றவர்கள் மீது துப்பாக்கி சூடு நடத்தினர். இதில் 14 பேர் உயிரிழந்தனர். இந்த துப்பாக்கி சூடு சம்பவம் தொடர்பாக சி.பி.ஐ. மற்றும் அருணா ஜெகதீஷ் ஆணையம் விசாரணை செய்து வருகிறது.
