‘Provide protection to activist under Witness Protection Scheme’

Principal District Judge S. Sivakadatcham has ordered protection to Madurai-based activist M. Gnanasekaran of Vadipatti who was facing threat from quarry operators.

Gnanasekaran participated in protests against illegal quarry operations around Kachaikatti in Vadipatti. The PDJ ordered that protection be provided to the activist under the Witness Protection Scheme. He is a witness in the case.
