Jaganathan, a social activist, belongs to Paramathi Kuppam village in Karur district. He took action to close the stone quarry which was operating illegally without permission. He was killed by a truck a few days ago due to this hostility. K. Paramathi police arrested 3 people including the quarry owner Selvakumar on a case of murder.

In this situation, to investigate the murder and the reasons for it, to conduct a field investigation in the name of fact-finding committee, lawyer Mohan of the Indian Independence Party, Manappara MLA. A team consisting of 9 people including Abdulsamadu visited the relevant places and inspected them.
